about me

Hi! What a privilege it is to have you visit here today!

Alan and I have been married for 34 years and we live north of Toronto where Alan is a pastor at The Campus Church.

Spending time with our 3 grown children, 2 son-in-laws, 5 darling grandchildren is right there on the top of our favourite-things-to-do!

Then there’s work.

Several times a week I commute into Toronto where I work as an Education and Development Specialist for a global corporation. Basically I help leaders and their team members be their best so that they can do they best. (Leadership and soft-skills training, change management, coaching and personal development etc.)

Much of my time during a regular week is invested in ministry–at my church, leading women’s ministry, and especially here at KathyButryn.com

I love to share what I am learning about making each day count and living wisely here on my blog, where I am invited to speak–and well–pretty much anywhere.

And…of course, some fun is sprinkled in there too!

I love “nesting,” so call me crazy, but I find rearranging my furniture and finding inexpensive ways to cozy up my home complete fun!!!! Of course, throwing in a regular episode of Fixer Upper, reading off of my KOBO, sipping tea from real china cups, planning and organizing, journaling, and going on adventures with my husband are all found on my fun and favourite list too.

So, that’s me.

One of the places we can stay connected is on Instagram or Facebook. I will look out for you over there.

Thank YOU!

Thank you for dropping by and hanging out here with me today, I so appreciate it. I pray even one small thing you see or read will inspire you to make your day count–with God’s help and for His glory!

  1. Hi Kathy. I really enjoyed your “conversation” with us in Whitby last week. I bought a “Grow Deeper” journal and don’t know where to access weekly devotional readings. God bless you and your messages.

    • Hi Wendy! Thanks for dropping by and for your encouraging words. I have started you on your Grow Deeper Devotional Journey and you should now be getting the emails from me. Praying for you as you start.
